Flyleaf has just announced they will be hitting the stage for the Boost Mobile RockCorps (BMRC) concert on June 20 at the Gibson Amphitheatre.

How do you get tickets? You can’t buy them. You can’t win them either. The only way to attend is to earn a ticket by volunteering four hours of community service at a BMRC project.

BMRC is partnering with Los Angeles area non-profit organizations for volunteer projects designed to improve areas in the Southern California region. Volunteers work on a range of service projects including school and playground renovation, park preservation, food distribution and much more. Projects are happening now through June 20.

In exchange for contributing four hours of community service, BMRC recruits in the Los Angeles area will earn tickets to the year’s most exclusive rock/ hip-hop concert on June 20 at the stunning Gibson Amphitheatre featuring Flyleaf and more.

The new CD + DVD package builds on the success of “All Around Me,” now in its sixth month out, and breaking into the Top 5 at Modern Rock radio. It’s the third single from the album, following “I’m So Sick” and “Fully Alive” – and the video clips for all three will be included on the bonus DVD. (The video for “All Around Me” was shot by visionary director Paul Fedor, whose credits include Evanescence, Marilyn Manson, and 30 Seconds to Mars. The videos for “I’m So Sick” and “Fully Alive” were directed by the Brothers Strause, who’ve worked with A Perfect Circle, Linkin Park, Godsmack, Staind, and others.)

In addition, special exclusive acoustic versions of “All Around Me,” “I’m So Sick,” and “Fully Alive,” plus “Cassie” and “Red Sam,” will be included on both the CD and DVD configurations. The new package will also contain a full-color Flyleaf locker poster, and access to free “All Around Me” ringtone and wallpaper.

Flyleaf harvested a multitude of new fans on the 31-city 2007 Family Values Tour, sharing the stage with Korn, Evanescence, Atreyu, Hellyeah, Trivium, Neurosonic, Droid, and others. The tour followed up Flyleaf’s own two-month headlining Justice & Mercy Tour, from April through June, featuring Kill Hannah, Sick Puppies, and Resident Hero, and sponsored by the Spyglass/Universal movie Evan Almighty, which opened in June. June also marked the opening of 20^th Century Fox’s Live Free Or Die Hard, featuring “I’m So Sick.”

Texas-bred Flyleaf – propelled by the arsenic-laced lyrics and blow-torch delivery of vocalist/lyricist Lacey Mosley, dual shredmaster guitarists Sameer Bhattacharya and Jared Hartmann, and the thundering rhythm section of bassist Pat Seals and drummer James Culpepper – have been have been winning over crowds ever since the lineup came together in 2002. Word of their intense, live performances spread across Texas, and earned them a SXSW showcase and ultimately a record deal with Octone Records. The New York-based label is home to Maroon 5, and is known for its long-haul artist development and marketing strategies on behalf of its artists, grass roots promo­tion, and sustained creative and commercial success.

The FLYLEAF album (released September 2005) was produced by Howard Benson, known for his work with Papa Roach, My Chemical Romance, POD and The All-American Rejects. It was eventually chosen as part of MTV’s coveted “Discover & Download” program. Since last year, the band has made major network television appearances on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, and NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly. Flyleaf has been touring virtually non-stop since the release of the album.

The band’s fan club has more than 20,000 “Mob Members” signed up, and their website on MySpace has more than 442,000 friends.
